আবু মু্আবিয়া ইসমাইল কামদার। জন্ম দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকার ডারবানে। সেপ্টেম্বর ১, ১৯৮৬। তের বছর বয়সে মাদ্রাসার পাঠ শুরু করেন উপমহাদেশের বিখ্যাত শিক্ষাপীঠ দারুল-উলূম দেওবন্দে। সূদীর্ঘ সাত বছর টানা পড়াশোনা শেষে সেখান থেকে উত্তির্ণ হন। ২০০৭ সালে ইসলামিক ষ্টাডিজে ব্যাচেলর করতে যোগ দেন ইসলামিক অনলাইন ইউনিভার্সিটিতে। বর্তমানে সেখানে হেড টিউটোরিয়াল অ্যাসিটেন্ট হিসেবে কর্মরত। ‘হ্যাভিং ফান দ্যা হালাল ওয়ে’ তাঁর প্রথম বই। একে একে ভিন্নধারার আরও অনেক ইসলামি সাহিত্য রচনা করেছেন তিনি। সবই ইসলামি আত্নউন্নয়নমূলক। উল্লেখযোগ্য বইয়ের মধ্যে আছে: ‘গেটিং দ্য বারাকাহ: অ্যান ইসলামিক গাইড টু টাইম ম্যানেজমেন্ট’, ‘বেস্ট অফ ক্রিয়েশন: অ্যান ইসলামিক গাইড টু সেলফ কনফিডেন্স’। স্ত্রী ও চার সন্তান নিয়ে ডারবানেই বসবাস করছেন তরুণ এই ’আলিম।
